PSEUDOMONAS KUNMINGENSIS

Class: Gamma Proteobacteria
Genus: Pseudomonas
Species: Pseudomonas kunmingensis
Description: Cells are Gram-stain-negative, non-pigmented, rod-shaped, strictly aerobic, with a single polar flagellum,0.6–0.8μm in diameter and 1.4–2.0μm in length. No accumulation of poly-β-hydroxybutyrate granules as inclusion bodies is observed. Colonies are circular, opaque, pale yellow with radial wrinkles after incubation for 2 days on LB agar. The optimal temperature for growth is 30°C, with growth observed at 4–41°C. The optimal pH for growth is pH 7.0 and growth occurred at pH 5.0–9.0 and with up to 6 % (w/v) NaCl in LB medium.
