PSEUDOMONAS LITORALIS

Description: Cells are Gram-negative, short rods, 0.5–0.9μm wide and 0.8–1.9μm long, motile by a single polar flagellum. Chemo-organotrophic, strictly aerobic, and oxidase- and catalase-positive. Grows on MA producing smooth, beige colonies with regular edges. Does not accumulate PHB granules and is not pigmented on King A or King B media. Both isolates grow at 15 and 37°C, but not at 4 or 40°C.
