Description: Gram-negative, aerobic, rod-shaped and motile with one or more flagella. Catalase- and oxidase-positive. Colonies on NA are flat, translucent, butyraceous, beige-coloured with entire margins and usually 2–3 mm in diameter within 2 days at 30°C. Spores are not formed. Grows between 4 and 35°C, but not at 37°C. Tolerates NaCl up to 5 % on NA.
