PSEUDOMONAS PANIPATENSIS

Description: Cells are Gram-negative, aerobic, non-sporulating, motile rods (1.0–1.2 x 2.8–3.5μm). Possesses a single polar flagellum. Colonies are smooth, circular and muddy-white,growing up to 1.5 mm diameter on LB agar after 72 h incubation at 30°C. Grows well at 28–37°C and pH 5–9, but growth does not occur in the presence of 3 % NaCl.
