PSEUDOMONAS POHANGENSIS

Description: Cells are Gram-negative, non-motile, non-spore-forming rods approximately 0.6–0.8 x 1.5–3.0μm in size. Colonies are irregular and cream-coloured after 48 h on MA. Cells are non-fluorescent on King A and B media. Catalase- and oxidase-positive. Growth occurs at temperatures of 4–35°C (optimum 25–30°C), pH 5–9 (optimum pH 7–8) and at NaCl concentrations of up to 3.0 % (optimum 1.0 %).
