PSEUDOMONAS SAGITTARIA

Class: Gamma Proteobacteria
Genus: Pseudomonas
Species: Pseudomonas sagittaria
Description: Cells are Gram-stain-negative, rod-shaped, 1.5–2.0μm in length and 0.5–0.7μm in diameter and display a polar flagellum. Grows well in solid and semi-solid media, but cannot grow under strictly anaerobic conditions. Colonies are smooth, convex and pale yellow after 2 days of incubation. Cells are capable of producing siderophores
