| Class: | Gamma Proteobacteria |
| Genus: | Pseudomonas |
| Species: | Pseudomonas straminea |
| Description: | Cells are Gram-negative rods measuring 0.4-0.6 by 1.6-2.0μm with rounded ends. Cells occur singly or in pairs and are motile by means of a single polar flagellum.
