Description: Aerobic, Gram-negative, non-motile, non-pigmented, non-spore-forming, coccoidal cells, 0.7-1.0μm in diameter. Oxidase- and catalase-positive. Colonies on nutrient agar are whitish, circular with an entire edge,convex, 1-2 mm in diameter. No Øuorescent pigments are formed. Moderately halophilic.
