PSYCHROMONAS HEITENSIS
| Class: | Gamma Proteobacteria |
| Genus: | Psychromonas |
| Species: | Psychromonas heitensis |
| Description: | Cells are Gram-negative, facultatively anaerobic, rod- shaped, approximately 1.0–1.5μm long by 0.5–1.0μm wide. Cells are motile by means of single subpolar flagella.Cytochrome oxidase- and catalase-positive. Optimal growth temperature is 20–25°C; growth occurs at 2 or 30°C, but not at 37°C. |
