RHEINHEIMERA HASSIENSIS
| Class: | Gamma Proteobacteria |
| Genus: | Rheinheimera |
| Species: | Rheinheimera hassiensis |
| Description: | Cells are Gram-staining-negative rods (0.7–2μm long and 0.4–0.8μm wide), non-spore-forming, motile by the presence of a single-polar flagella, and grow under aerobic and microaerophilic conditions. Colonies on LG agar are 1–1.5 mm in diameter, transparent, non-pigmented, cir- cular and slightly convex after 48 h of incubation at 28°C.
