Description: Cells are Gram-negative, non-spore-forming, curved rods, 0.5 x 1.5-3.2μm, motile by means of one polar flagellum. Circular, convex, opaque, cream-coloured pigmented colonies (2±3 mm) develop on 10 % (w/v)marine salts solid medium after 2 d incubation at 37°C. No pigments.
