Description: Cells are Gram-negative, short, curved rods, 0.5–0.6 x 1.0–2.3μm. Highly motile by one polar flagellum. Facultative anaerobe. Endospores are not formed. Colonies are round with entire edges, smooth, slightly convex and creamy white in colour.
