Cells have a Spirillum -like morphology, with dimensions 0.3-0.45 x 1-4μm (occasionally up to 15μm in length).Motile by means of a single polar flagellum. Gram-negative cell wall. Deposits intracellular sulfur globules and polar polyphosphate granules. |
