Description: Gram-negative, facultatively anaerobic, motile, flagellated rods (0.7–0.8 x 1.1–1.4μm in size). Colonies are beige in colour, round and smooth on MA. Swarming is not observed. Colonies are 2–6 mm in diameter on MA plates after 24 h of incubation at 25°C. Not luminescent.Oxidase- and catalase-positive.
