Description: Cells are slightly curved,1μm wide by 2–3μm long and motile by means of at least one polar flagellum. They form opaque, convex, non-swarming, smooth, rounded colonies with entire margins; colonies are dark beige in colour and 3–4 mm in diameter on TSA after 48 h incubation at 28°C.
