Description: Cells are Gram-reaction-negative, facultatively anaerobic, oxidase- and catalase-positive, motile and rod-shaped (0.6–0.8 x 1.0–2.5μm) in size. Cells grow best on media such as MA and TCBS; slowly on TSA; not on NA, PCA or R2A agar.
