VIBRIO MANGROVI
| Class: | Gamma Proteobacteria |
| Genus: | Vibrio |
| Species: | Vibrio mangrovi |
| Description: | The cells are rods (0.8 × 1.5–5.0 μm), single or pairs, motile, Gram-negative, oxidase negative and positive for catalase. Grows optimally at temperatures of 28–30 °C, in the presence of NaCl (0.1–8%), no growth at 10% NaCl and in the absence of NaCl. Facultatively anaerobic, positive for gas production from glucose under anaerobic conditions. |
