| Description: | A halophilic,motile,rod-shaped and nitrogen-fixing bacterium.Cells are Gram-staining-negative, facultatively anaerobic,slightly curved rods(0.5–0.7 x 1.0–1.5μm), motile with a polar flagellum and oxidase- and catalase-positive.Colonies are ivory–yellowish, opaque and circular with entire margins after 2 days at 28°C on MA with 3% NaCl. |
