Description: Cells are gram-negative short rods (1.5 to 2 by 0.5 to 0.8μm) that are straight or slightly curved and motile by means of a single polar flagellum when the cells are grown on solid media. No lateral flagella are formed on solid media, and there is no swarming.Does not form spores. Facultatively anaerobic.
