Description: Gram negative, mesophilic, slightly halophilic, fermentative rods.aerogenic, arginine dihydrolase and Voges Proskauer positive, oxidase negative and unable to reduce nitrate, traits shared by most species in the Gazogenes clade. It is unpigmented and does not grow on TCBS Agar.
