Description: The upper temperature limiting growth of the two knownstrains of this species in LB broth lies between 39 and 40°C.Assimilates Simmons’ citrate, does not hydrolyse aesculin,does not ferment ribose, sorbitol, trehalose or gluconate and does not assimilate ribose.Xenorhabdus cabanillasii produces the antifungal metabolite Cabanillasin.
