Description Enterobacter soli is a lignin-degrading c-proteobacteria that can be Isolated from soil.Cells are motile, gram-negative rods. Main biochemical reactions are positive for the fermentation of glucose, mannitol, sorbitol, rhamnose, saccharose, melibiose, amygdalin, and arabinose; and negative for inositol.
