| Description | E.amnigenus biovar1 is a gram-negative, peritrichous, non sporeforming, straight rods resembling those of the other members of Enterobacteriaceae. Never encapsulated. Growth on nutrient agar occurs at 30 and 37C but not at 41C. It shows closely dna relatedness with E.cloacae. |
