Description Enterobacter ludwigii strains were isolated from clinical specimens.The bacteria is gram-negative, fermentative, motile rods with the general characteristics of the genus Enterobacter.It is named after named after Wolfgang Ludwig. Enterobacter hormaechei is the closest relative of this species.
